The cleaning power is awesome, the handling is natural movements. Everytime I run it I wonder where it is getting the dirt from (we do not wear shoes in the house).As far as emptying the dirt, it is easy, but it is NOT germ/dirt free on hands or outside of the canister. Having said all that, if you want a vacuum to REALLY clean your carpets and bare (I have kitchen tile) floors you just cannot beat this one!! (Fisher J)
